Welcome to Historic Camp Holiday
We have a variety of rustic cabins for individuals or families, plus we have bunkhouses ideal for large group gatherings.
Rustic, Cozy Cabins
Our VIP Cabins combine rustic charm with modern conveniences. Camper Cabins provide an authentic summer camp bunking experience with lots of beds to accommodate large groups. We are the perfect back-to-nature site for solo retreats, family, reunions, or even wedding parties!
Fun on the Lakes
Experience the beauty of our lakes with a pontoon ride, a peaceful paddle, fishing, swimming, or simply basking on the sandy beach. Historic Camp Holiday is on the shores of Baby and Man Lakes, offering stunning views, wildlife, birdwatching, and crystal clear water.
Relax in Comfort
Unwind and rejuvenate in our wood-fired sauna, enjoy homemade pizza from our wood-fired oven, or read a book in one of our outdoor hammocks. In the evenings enjoy a campfire on the beach or relax inside with a puzzle. And we love dogs, so your four-legged friends are welcome!
BE A PART OF OUR STORY
After 100 years providing community, summer learning, and immersion in nature for children, we’re opening our site to adults and families who crave an authentic Northwoods experience. Step back in time and join us as we create our new chapter at Historic Camp Holiday!

“This location is gorgeous. We stayed in the rustic camper cabins. It is a great way to stay “unplugged.” My kids especially enjoyed the sandy beach and the little trails throught he woods to get from place to place around the camp. The lodge we had access to was beautiful in a time-tested way. Wile it isn’t huge, it stands on stilts overlooking the lake with a fireplace and carved manel. I hope to return to Historic Camp Holiday again in the future.”

“My absolute favorite spot on planet earth is on the isthmus between Baby and Mann Lake on this property. The whole site is beautiful and pristinely maintained. It is roughly equidistant between Longville and Hackensack, MN — both towns with activities, shopping, and available Wi-Fi. Although I suspect once you arrive at Historic Camp Holiday, LLC you will decide to make as few town runs as possible.”
Laura
“Our rustic cabin between Baby and Man Lakes offered the perfect escape–loons calling from both directions, stunning sunsets, and the kind of peace you can’t find in the city. We spent our days canoeing, swimming at the sandy beach, and watching our dog bound through the water. It’s rare to find such an authentic lake experience anymore-nature at it’s finest. If you’re looking to reconnect with what matters, this is your place.”
